Grace and peace to you and yours in our Lord. In dark times, The Light shines.
The whole world has been experiencing some trying times with the attack of the virus and all of its physical, emotional, and financial aftermath. During this time, I believe I'm prompted to remind and encourage you in these 4 things...
1. This Disease Is Not from Our Good Father.
Whatever steals, kills, and destroys is the work of the evil one, the destroyer, the devil. (John 10:10, Luke 9:56, Rev. 9:11, Amplified Bible.) The curse is in the earth, and unless one lives in the Lord's redemption and protection, it will affect anyone on earth. But Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the Law! Repent of any wrongdoing, trust in the Lord, follow His leadings, and you will be safe. (See our recent series on Redeemed from the Curse of the Law.)
2. God Is Our Source.
We see in the Scriptures where God provided for His people miraculously, even spectacularly, in the bleakest circumstances: food brought by ravens, manna from heaven, etc. If we will rely on Him and follow His leadings, He will take care of us. And not just by allowing us to survive--The Lord caused Isaac to reap a hundredfold in the same year, during a famine. He hasn't changed. (We're featuring two of our series:Sustained & The Lord My Keeper. To watch, listen, or order a hard copy, visit our website and click the Featured Series box.)
3. We Are His Witnesses.
When others panic, we can have peace. We can rest in the midst of turmoil. We can do this because we know in Whom we have believed and are fully persuaded that He is able to keep us. There are many who don't know Him, or how to hear from Him, or anything about faith. We must set the example before them: Walking in faith and in love 24/7, being gracious instead of grabbing what we can like unbelievers, and being ready to patiently share with others how God really is the answer to it all.
4. We Are Overcomers!
Thanks be to God, Who always causes us to triumph. (2 Cor. 2:14) In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. (Rom. 8:37) Refuse to entertain or consider anything except complete, overwhelming Victory!!! This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4)
This is only temporary. Let's keep our eyes on the eternal. We love you and pray for you.
Safe in Him,
